William John Frederic Basso

 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William (Bill) John Frederic Basso on February 28, 2026 at the North Bay Regional Health Center. Bill is the beloved husband of Lynnette Constantino, much loved father of Jeffery Basso, and Amanda (Chris) Mayer, Step dad to Charisse (Dennis), treasured grandfather to Jessica, Tyson, Brodie, Shaun, Ayden, Michael, Anthony, Evan (Lauren), Hanna, Enzo and Zane. Dear brother of Marlene (Eric), Noreen (Ed), Marilyn (Terry), Nancy (Bergen), Mike (Dawn), and Mark (Judy). Dear Brother -in-law to Millet, Eloy, Jovie, Ariel, Gary and Joy. Bill will be missed by his mother Carolyn Basso. He is predeceased by his father John and brother Lawrence. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Bill enjoyed fishing, ATV riding, trips to the beach in the Phillipines and his treasured Cadillac. Visitation will be held at the Raney Funeral Chapel on Friday March 20, 2026 from 11-12 p.m with a funeral service following at Noon. Reception will be held at Heigher Highs Christian Fellowship following the service. If so desired, memorial donations to the Sundridge Lions Club would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
