It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Scott William McLean, age 55, on January 28, 2022 at the North Bay Regional Health Center. He is the beloved and much loved son of Carolyn McLean-Mullally (Peter), and predeceased by his father, John McLean. Cherished brother to Steve (Debbie), and Stuart (Crystal). He will be missed by his family, four-legged companion Bailey, and by his many friends, and colleagues at the O.N.R. and C.N.R. Scott was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all forms of sports live and on TV, especially NFL, NASCAR, and hockey. He enjoyed snowmobiling, ATV'ing, hunting, and fishing with his many friends. He also got great enjoyment from watching the many forms of wildlife that came into his yard such as Martha the Moose, whitetail deer, and hummingbirds.
Visitation will be held at Raney Funeral Chapel in South River Ontario from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
A private family interment will take place in the Spring at the South River Cemetery .
Memorial donations can be made to All Hearts Pet Rescue in Powassan, Ontario, or a charity of your choice.
