Michael Robert (South River) Cooper

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Robert Cooper, on Tuesday, January 22, 2025 at Belvedere Heights Nursing Home in Parry Sound.

Mike is the loving husband of Doris (Mayr) Cooper, cherished father of Ryan (Jenn) and Shea (Sabrina). Treasured grandpa to Avery, Alva and Sadie.  He will be sadly missed by his loving pets "Rudi, Tucker and Toby", his aunts, many friends and extended family.  

Predeceased by his parents Ken and Irene Cooper.

Mike worked for Camp D.A.R.E for many years as a Corrections Officer and then for the Ministry of Natural Resources.  He enjoyed playing hockey, golf, fishing, hunting and gardening.

Visitation at the Raney Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 11am-1pm with words of remembrance at 1pm. Followed by a reception.

If so desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
