Margaret Steen

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Marg on Tuesday April 9^th, 2019 at the Peterborough  Regional Health Center in her  82nd year.     Dear mother of Dianne Takeuchi (Lindy) of Burlington,  Brenda Steen (Thomas Dick) of  Peterborough, Geoff, Steen of Chapleau and Ted Steen of Cache Creek, B.C. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Claire, Alec, Nathaniel, Valerie, Hunter, Maya, Jeff, Jeremy , Jordan and her great grandsons  Cullen and Liam.   Predeceased by her loving husband Dave Steen, her son Richard, her sisters Marie and Donna and her brothers Stuart and Robert.
Marg enjoyed spending time with her  family, playing cards, reading and gardening.
In keeping with Marg’s wishes cremation has taken place.    Visitation will be held on Saturday May 4^th, 2019 at the Raney Funeral Chapel from 12- 4 p.m.  If so desired, memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Society or the Diabetes Association would be acknowledge as expressions of sympathy by the family.   Arrangements entrusted to Raney Funeral Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.raneyfuneralchapel.ca
