Peacefully with her girls by her side, Sunday April 2, 2023 at Nipissing Manor. She joins her husband of 65 years Donald Scarlett (2016). Loved mother of Jeananne (George) Gruzuk, their daughter Jaimie (Mike) Beauchamp and great grandchildren Easton, Ecco, and Emmett. Stephen (Bonnie) Scarlett, their sons Neil and Nick Scarlett and great grandchildren Sophia and Luken. Her siblings Bill (Menola) Butson, Alma (George) Thompson, in-laws Lillian (Lee) Pinkney, Aileen (Gary) Martin. Predeceased by Sybil (Bill) Rutledge, Bob (Betty) Butson, Mick (Marsha) Butson, Janice (Jimmy) McKnight, Phylis (Lloyd) Boyer. In-laws Marion (John) Hall, Jean (Willard) Hartwick, Gordon (Bea) Scarlett, Jack (June) Scarlett, Betty (Guy) Sedore, Marg (Bev) Falls. She will be missed by her Church family, bingo friends, caregivers at Nipissing Manor and many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, South River. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Nipissing Manor or the Almaguin Pet Rescue.
