Joan Wilson

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Joan on March 5^th, 2022, after a prolonged illness.

Joan was the beloved wife and best friend of Reginald Wilson, much loved mother of Doug (Arlene), Angela (Kelly) and Jason (Vicky) adorned “Nana” of Zachary, Brittany (Brock), Nathan, Michaela, Taylor, Owen, Madison (deceased), Cameron, Abbigail, and great grandson Zenith.

Joan is survived by her sisters Margaret (Charles deceased), Audrey (Terry), and her loving and faithful pet’s Amber and Liam.

Predeceased by her parents Iris and stepfather Thomas Laybourne.

Joan was a very kind and gentle soul who was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved all animals and was very talented at painting, ceramics and knitting.

A private family visitation and service will be held, March 8^th, 2022.

Memorial donations can be made to Almaguin Pet Rescue and the Parkinson Society.
