James Bruce Carmichael

Passed away peacefully at Waters Edge nursing home on February 27th, 2016 in his 88th year.  Beloved husband of Fern (Hall) and Helen (predeceased).  Loved father of Bonnie Carmichael (Dave) of Guelph, Sherry Turcotte (Tom) of Kingston, Jim Carmichael (deceased), Marilyn Taylor (Bruce) of Windsor, Monty Hall (Diane) of Sundridge and Brian Hall-deceased (Mary) of Sundridge.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Lindsay Carmichael, BrittanyDownie, Mackenzie Downie, Justin Turcotte, Matthew Decker (Sandra), Ryan Decker (Jennifer),Shanna Johnstone (Dennis), Kelly Hall (Jason), Tricia Hendry (Mike), Caitlin Hall (Tyler),Caroline Hall, Jennifer Hall (Asa), Beverly Hall-Hillier (Jason), Kathleen Hall (Tim) and by his 15 great granchildren.  Bruce was very involved with his community serving with the South River Lions Club, Chalmers United Church and the South River Curling Club for many years.  Visitation at the Raney Funeral Chapel on Wednesday March 2, 2016 from 6-9 p.m.  Lions service at 6:30 p.m.  Visitation at Chalmers United Church on Thursday March 3, 2016 from 10 a.m.until Memorial Service at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, if so desired memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences can be made at www.raneyfuneralchapel.ca
