James Robert Dickerson

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jim, on Thursday, August 30th, 2019 at his home.  He was 63.  He is the much loved son of June  Dickerson.  Dear brother of Jeffrey (Maria) and Sherri (Gord) all of South River. He is lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Michael (Jenifer) Douglas (Joe),  Shenna (Leon), Sabrina, Francisco and Edite.  He will be fondly remembered as a mentor/Big Brother to Travis.  Survived by his aunts, uncles, other relatives and  friends. Jim was always keen to learn and recently was mastering vocal lessons, playing  guitar, piano and studying the Bible. Predeceased by his father George and brother Michael.Visitation will be held at Raney Funeral Chapel  on Saturday September 7th , 2019, from 2-4 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service following  at 4 p.m.  If so desired, memorial donations to World Vision or Heart & Stoke Foundation  would be acknowledge as expressions of sympathy by the family.   Arrangements entrusted to Raney Funeral Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.raneyfuneralchapel.ca
