Harvey Gordon Maeck

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harvey Gordon Maeck on Tuesday November 30th, 2021 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Harvey is the beloved husband of Betty Lou Maeck, much loved father of Lori-Lynn (Brent) Holotuk, Sherry Maeck, Shelley Maeck and Geoff Maeck. Cherished Poppa of Daphne Maeck (Helen), Justin Holotuk (Kate), Lindsay Holotuk (Tony), Melissa Maeck-Rolston and Noah Maeck-Rolston.  Dear great grandfather of Kieran Maeck-Griffiths, Eli Maeck-Griffiths and Olivia and Ben.  Harvey is survived by his brothers Les (Gail) and Ron (Judy), sister-in-laws Barb Maeck, Judy Franks (Dave), Bonnie-Sue Brooks and brother-in-law Robert Brooks.  He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.  Predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Ollie and brother Alvin. Harvey will be lovingly remembered for his friendly manner and outgoing personality. He enjoyed playing pool and fishing, watching old movies and westerns, reading, gardening, and puzzles. In following Harvey’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
