It's with great sadness that we announce our Father Gerben (“Gerald”) Dotinga has passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2022. He was born in the Netherlands on May 11, 1940 and came to Canada as a young hard working ambitious man. Through his life he loved farming and nature and spent his final years enjoying the peaceful scenery in South River. He will be missed by his daughters: Dieann (Don) & Linda (Rocco), his 5 grandchildren: Jonathan, Joshua, and the late Jacob Rogers, Sarah, and Melissa Coombs and his brothers and sisters: Elske (Peter), Tsjitze (Anneke), Wytze (Ria), Jacob (Francien), Tsjerk (Durkje), Willemke (Jan), Fokje (Andries). Family will be receiving visitors at Raney Funeral Chapel (10 Toronto Ave. South River) on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 1-3 pm.  Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
