Francisco Archie Dickerson-Vilaca

It is with disbelief and sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Francisco on April 27, 2023 at his home.Francisco leaves behind his parents Jeffery Dickerson and Maria Vilaca, his siblings Bruno and Edite, his grandmother June Dickerson, his loving girlfriend Alhana Heather Giuga, his aunts, uncles, cousins, both in Portugal and Ontario, his many friends and teachers. 

He is predeceased by his grandparents George Dickerson, Joao Vilaca Almeida and Edite Vilaca Almeida.

Francisco was a talented young man, applying and receiving grant money for Young Entrepreneurs to open his own business, Bend Spoon Bakery and Ice Cream Parlour, which he operated in the summer of 2022 and took great pride in his work.  He was a creative forger and had plans of attending school this fall to be a Blacksmith.  He was a avid curler, guitar player a student at A.H.S.S., enjoying classes but particularly welding, music and culinary arts.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 11, 2023 from 2-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service on May 12, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Raney Funeral Chapel.

Reception to follow at Higher Heights Christian Fellowship.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial donations can be made to Almaguin Highlands Secondary School (Memorial bursary in the Skilled Trades)  in memory of Francisco.
