Throughout his journey in life, Ernest built countless friendships. He was a man rich in experiences, with a deep love for fishing, hunting, and boating much like the song lyrics. Ernest cherished time spent with his grandkids, whether at the cottage or by the water, always embracing the simple joys of life. A true sports enthusiast, he had a wealth of stories that never failed to bring laughter to those around him. With a love for tinkering and building, his tools were always in hand, creating something new. Above all, family was his greatest priority. He was there whenever his loved ones needed him, with an open heart and an open door, offering unwavering support and love.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Fire and rescue team that transported our loved one to the hospital. We further want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of the Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit at North Bay Regional Health Centre for their unwavering dedication in keeping our loved one comfortable. We will forever be grateful for their kindness and the comfort they brought us.
