Douglas Wayne Gilson

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Douglas Wayne Gilson on September 4, 2023 at North Bay Regional Health Center.  Father of Lacey, Melanie and Justin, dear grandfather of Gracie and Ethan.  He will be missed by his siblings Gord (Bonnie), Sharon (Peter), Rob (Teresa), Jim (Wendy), Lois (Angelo), Steve (Shannon), Don, Deb and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Doug is predeceased by his daughter Brittany, and his granddaughter Olivia and his parents Gord and Eileen Gilson.

Doug was always a hard worker and in his spare time enjoyed tinkering with cars and using his mechanical talents.  In his younger years enjoyed hunting with family and friends.

As per Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place.

If so desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
