Sorry I will not be there on this day Lloyd you were a big part of my life, you were like a best friend and a father rolled into one person. You and Helen made my day every time I walked into work. You would put up with all of my shinanagins, like dressing up for Halloween, Easter, st pattys day, and Christmas. Life is not the same without you here. Paul and I miss you a great deal, you were a great man and a dear friend, and you will always have a special place in my heart, right beside my dad...... Love always Cheryl Young

Me: As long as I live I shall always be me Myself and no other, Just me. Like a tree. Willow, elder, Aspen, thorn, Or cypress forlorn. Like a flower, For it's hour Primrose or pink, Or a violet Sunned by the sun, And with dewdrops wet. Always just me.
~Walter de la Mare

My sincerest condolences to the Family. Remember mourning is the price we pay for having loved others dearly.... my thoughts are with you. The above poem makes me think of the unique character and charm of Uncle Lloyd.

Though I had the briefest of times to visit with Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Helen whenever visiting Northern Ontario, I will be forever grateful for the privileged opportunity of my existence to get to meet such a wonderful and special couple exhibiting a simple joy and affection in one another like no other. In the company of these very gentlest of beings (ever) was as an example for us all to aspire to. Ahh the times. Enjoy all the best that is available! In honour and remembrance of such a very special individual. God Bless You Uncle Lloyd!
