Wilbert Schmidt

Peacefully passed away at the Algonquin Muskoka Health Center on Friday April 8th, 2016.  He is the beloved husband of Martha Schmidt.  Loved father of Jim (Bonnie) Schmidt, Kimm Schmidt, Brian (Debbie) Schmidt, and Tracy (Ron) Raaflaub.  Cherished Poppa of Brandon, Chad (Autumn), Kayla (Darren), Kyle (Katie), and Sarah.  Great poppa of Braeden and Mason.  He leaves behind his last sibling Mildred MacIntyre.  Predeceased by his parents Jack and Ethel and siblings John, Allan, Tina, Aletha, Peter, Clair, Eileen, and Ken.  There will be a Graveside service at the Pevensey Cemetery on Sunday April 17th, 2016 at 1 p.m.  Following the committal there will be a Celebration of Life held at Raney Funeral Chapel in South River at 2:30 p.m.   If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice.  Online condolences can be made at www.raneyfuneralchapel.ca
