Mary Shirley Blanchard

Shirley peacefully passed away with her family by her side at Toronto General Hospital on Friday September 8^th, 2017 in her 63^rd year.  She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Ray Taylor and her siblings Peter, Brenda, Kelly-Ann, Barbie and Francine, their spouses, her beloved in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and her many friends.  Predeceased by her siblings Janet, Corey, Tony and Roger.    Shirley had a talent for needle point,  and crafts in general.  She had won ribbons and awards  for her creativity.  Shirley loved to play Bingo and had the talent to Yodel, which her mother taught her when she was a child.  She was  especially proud of her heritage being from St. John, New Brunswick and achieving her Certificate in Smart Serve.  She was a friendly outgoing person who cherished her family and loved her “Ray”.                                            Visitation at Raney Funeral Chapel on Wednesday September 13, 2017  from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Memorial Service at Higher Heights Christian Fellowship on Thursday September 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rick Callery officiating.  Memorial donations to the Peter Munk Cardiac Campaign would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy by the family.
