My condolences to the family. Rob and I worked together at Dominion Bridge, he mentored me for some time and I shall always remember him and some of our funnier road trips together.

Dear Family of Rob Roy,

We are Anmar, a Mechanical & Electrical company just outside of Sudbury. Over the course of 25 years Rob came to our shop monthly to do an audit on our welding procedures to make sure our standards were in keeping with the Canadian Welding Bureau . For us at Anmar, and our sister company Talossteel, Rob was more than just someone we did business with. He was someone we looked forward to seeing each month. Rob never showed up without a warm greeting and a twinkle in his eye! He was always a pleasure to deal with and very much admired by our shop personnel - such an intelligent man who obviously loved his work and what it brought to his life. We feel honoured and privileged to have had such an enduring relationship with Rob - he will be greatly missed by all of us.

Fondly, everyone at Anmar & Talossteel

Rob use to review our welding procedures at Baycar Steel in Sudbury. He was always glad to help us and share his extensive knowledge of welding. Rob will be well remembered for his relaxed manner and friendly mannerism. He was never in a rush, not even to retire. He was respectful of others opinions no matter what there certifications were, and I respected him for that. I miss his chats.

Thank you for being a friend Rob,
Ray
