Harry "Ron" Milroy

Peacefully at, Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville, with his family by his side on July 29th, 2016. in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Marlene (Ward) Milroy.  Dear father of James and Brian (Evelyn).  Loving grandpa to Ashley Irvine, Matt, Eric, Ryan, Annie and Joey Milroy.  Great-grandpa of Madden.  Brother of Lenore (Gary) and Sandra (Phil).  Brother-in-law of Bev and Lyn (Darrell).    Ron retired as Captain of the Scarborough Fire Department and moved north to the place he loved most, where hockey and hunting were a big part of his life.  His love for music was obvious when he become part of the Almaguin Choral Society.  He was a caring soul and always strived to do the best he could.  Our family would like to thank Dr. Seidler, Dr Goldfarb, Dr. Harrold, the hospice care team in Huntsville and Dr's Andronowski, Mocanu and Pearce from the Sudbury Northeast Cancer Center for the care and support Ron received.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at the South River Friendly Circle, 10 Isabelle St, South River on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 from 1-5 pm.  Arrangements entrusted to Raney Funeral Chapel,  South River.  Online condolences may be made at www.raneyfuneralchapel.ca
